Too many people and so much traffic. More and more apartments/townhomes/condos are being built and the roads are crumbling and the city looks dumpy. The crime is increasing, including assaults on innocent people. It’s become a very expensive smelly armpit… Rent is sky high even for bad neighborhoods. I can’t wait to move out of this place.
Ventura is a coastal city in Southern California with a decent sized population, but small-town vibes. In the West End, you will find quaint bungalows and old Victorian gems. In the East End, there are parks and new construction nestled among farmland. A vast variety of outdoor activities include: surfing at Rincon, hiking up to Two Trees, or bike riding along the promenade. Culturally you will find everything for the modern hippie to call paradise.
