It is a very safe city but a bit chaotic with car and foot traffic. Great food and people are friendly once you ‘prime the pump.’

Tirana is a city full of life. The everyday life is cheap, you can find great food in a nice restaurant for five euros. Also, there is a large amount of cafeterias -some of them with a nice view- that will offer good coffee and pretty much anything you like (yes, also wine and beer). Although mobility is quite easy in the public transport, during rush hours you might find traffic in the main roads, but nothing more than a 15 minute delay. There is a lake just 15 minute walking from the centre where you can have a coffee, a snack, take a walk, make some exercise early in the morning or simply sit on the benches and enjoy the view.

Tirana is a new metropol among capitals, getting bigger and bigger, modern city where youngster’s energise making it a very attractive city. The cost of living is cheap. In 20 minutes you can go at seaside, 20 minutes you can go at the airport. There is also a cable car that send you at the top of Dajti Mountain.
