Bonny Island is at the southern edge of Rivers State in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. It is near Port Harcourt. Ferries are the main form of transport to and from the island. The local language spoken on Bonny Island is Ibani. Many natives also speak the Igbo language.
It is a very expensive place. The only means of transport is air and water which is very costly and affects the price of goods and services. There is also the availability of constant light and water. The cost of renting an apartment is high and as such those who can’t afford it stay in less expensive houses which is usually called Bacher. It is also full of opportunities and job availability.
