Shopping, Traveling and adventure. Besides the city is also called the cotton city. Treatment of many diseases as it is known for good hospitals. City is also known for tuition classes for competitive exams. MIDC which is Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation is the main Industrial center of Akola City.

Be aware of the high rent prices of the houses because of bad brokers community in the city. Same applies for the high rate of lands and houses if you’re interested in buying a home of yours. This city is hustle free unlike other cities of this state but it is also crime prone like Mumbai.

A person should not visit our city during summer, as it is very hot here. Actually it is the place with highest temperature in India, and might become the place with highest temperature in the world. People have to face severe water shortage during summer. But the farmers of our district still manage to grow cotton in their farms. Our district is famous for cotton supply.

As per a person thinking to move to my city would probably get so much affected by weather, it’s too hot in here and this weather is much good for cotton plantation. if the person is familiar with the hot climate would be satisfied in Akola. Papad production is a great business for those who seek to be an entrepreneur.
