Set amongst stunning scenery, Wrexham has just received city status and is ‘up and coming’ due to Ryan Reynolds buying Wrexham FC. There are many bars, shops, restaurants and many opportunities to be outdoors hiking, fishing, swimming, etc. There is a thriving music scene and if you want to learn and speak Welsh, there are opportunities to do that also.

Wrexham lies on the English border with Wales, not far from the Roman town of Chester. It used to be a rural market town and its history can be seen in the architecture of the retail shops and businesses that surround the large church. In recent years, a shopping centre has been built to attract younger families into the area.

Wrexham is a large town in North East Wales, with a fascinating industrial heritage. The town has excellent transport links with the wider UK, due to its prime location on the border with England. Wrexham is a pleasant place as it is surrounded by magnificent countryside, yet is large enough to offer a plethora of shopping and nightlife activities.
