The History of Wrexham, Wales
two local expertsLeave a comment
Wrexham lies on the English border with Wales, not far from the Roman town of Chester. It used to be a rural market town and its history can be seen in the architecture of the retail shops and businesses that surround the large church. In recent years, a shopping centre has been built to attract younger families into the area.
Wrexham is a large town in North East Wales, with a fascinating industrial heritage. The town has excellent transport links with the wider UK, due to its prime location on the border with England. Wrexham is a pleasant place as it is surrounded by magnificent countryside, yet is large enough to offer a plethora of shopping and nightlife activities.
