Pensacola is beautiful. We have a beach and a town called Gulf Breeze nearby. There are great schools in Gulf Breeze, but not as much Pensacola. Some of Pensacola us very sketchy (don’t move to that side of town), but some is very pretty and has nice things to do in your free time.

Pensacola’s population is currently experiencing an increasing trend. The city that was once centered around its port is now known for the attractive beaches that tourists flock to. The University of West Florida heavily drives population growth, as neighborhoods near the university become larger yearly. Corporate development is expanding past the city limits into the wetlands and forested areas, which is unsettling to many who call the town home.

It is hard to speak of Pensacola and not mention its white sandy beaches and the Gulf of Mexico’s emerald green waters. They are the heartbeat of the local community, both in the pride they bring to longtime residents but also in the money they draw from tourists across the United States. Locals love to brag that they live where most vacation and, despite my initial eye rolls, it is difficult not to share such sentiment having lived here five years.

Pensacola is the home of the Blue Angels. The Blue Angels are a group of jet planes that perform captivating tricks in the air. They draw enormous crowds from all over the country. Pensacola is also home to the most beautiful white sand beaches. Moving to this city, you will find a family oriented lifestyle. Downtown Pensacola is steadily growing with new business and boutiques. The cost of living versus the average income is about even. A family could live in modest luxury on an average income. I encourage everyone interested in making Pensacola their home to vacation on Pensacola Beach prior to the move. This will exhibit both the best and worst qualities Pensacola has to offer.

Someone moving to the city of Pensacola in Northwest Florida should know the weather is beautiful for the most part. They should also be aware that there is a risk of hurricanes from June 1st until November 30th of yearly. The housing market is increasing and the area is continuing to grow as Navy Federal Credit Union has a multi-million dollar contact center in the north side of the county which has amazing jobs for anyone interested in the financial sector. And last but not least, the beach here is beautiful and Destin, Florida, or Orange Beach, Alabama, is a short 1-hour drive away and there are water parks in both places as well.

Pensacola has a lot to offer its residents. However, it is important to do your research before choosing a place. Some areas have a higher crime rate, and the homes and buildings are much more dilapidated. The waterfront portions will provide the best views but will be much more expensive. Property in the downtown of Pensacola costs more than other areas but will be close to many charming shops, restaurants, and exciting entertainment opportunities. If you are looking for something that is not too expensive but in a good location, there are many subdivisions that are more affordable while still being attractive. many subdivisions are within a comfortable driving distance to downtown and the beaches. Pensacola is a popular tourist destination. When you find what you are looking for in a home, it can be a wonderful place.

The town is surrounded by beaches and water in general. The weather is usually humid and sunny with very little rain throughout the month, especially during summer time. The people are friendly. There is a great variety of shopping and restaurants nearby and could also be walked to. The Navy base is one of the most popular parts about the city, Pensacola.
