Is Pagadian City boring? Is it fun? How do people relax in their free time? From playing and watching live sports to listening to live music to volunteering, here's what seven local experts had to say about things to do in Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Our city is the “Little Hong Kong of the South” in the Philippines. We have mountainous terrains that are very nice to trail and hike. Our city is also known for its fishing industries and famous dried-fish products. Traveling here also is very easy because we have bus terminals that are very accessible. Aside from that, our city is also rising economically because just recently, our city was hailed to be the Regional Center of all government centers within Region nine after years of hard work of our local officials.

Pagadian City is the capital of Zamboanga Peninsula. It is surrounded by sea and has rare features of steep roads. The design of the motorcycles is indeed one-of-a-kind that every tourist must try. The city is popular for selling dried fish and cheap various fruits. Many pay to visit and stroll here thus, overcrowd is at times visible.

Pagadian City’s trademark is the “tricycle”. The front of the tricycle is upward and the back is down ward, that is why when the tourist ride it, they feel scared because they think it will fall. And I think that is the most interesting thing in my city.

It’s fun to be in the Philippines. Where wonders and natural environment are beautiful, relaxing, and very pleasing in the eyes. People in the Philippine are also good, hardworking, friendly, and very hospitable. Especially if you are new to a place, they will welcome you with a smile and open arms.

Pagadian City, also known as “The Hong Kong of the South” where it is in the heart of the Mindanao island. It is a mountainous rural-urban city where the mountain touches the sky and the land touches the sea. It is ideal for people who loves nature and the beach. Various recreational activities can be made that would make your stay worthwhile.

Pagadian City is little Hong Kong in the south, for its surrounded with businesses like club bars and its balikbayan food or “pasalubong” called danggit or dried fish. Pagadian also became famous from travellers for its unique vehicles called tricycle. There are also beautiful views and adventurous places in pagadian like Alegria falls and Mt. Timulan.

Pagadian is a beautiful city. People are friendly and sincere. It is a wonderful place. People from Pagadian are called ‘Pagadianons.’ The city is made up of many sloping landscapes, which makes it pretty cool to see from any higher vantage point. Tourists will enjoy the ride with the tricycle because of its unique feature.
