Know about the temples here. They should also know about the beach, ashtamudi lake, lighthouse, jadayu rock, a good harbour where we can find lots of fishes, Shenduruny wildlife sanctuary, Thenmala dam, Palaruvi waterfalls, Punalur iron bridge, etc. It is an interesting place which attracts many tourists.

Kollam is the fourth largest city in Kerala and the fifth largest in terms of corporation area. It is known for cashew processing and coir manufacturing. Ashtamudi Lake is considered the southern gateway to the backwaters of Kerala and is a prominent tourist destination at Kollam. Kollam, known for its vibrant coasts, cashew factories and fish delicacies would be one of the favourite destinations of any travel enthusiast.

Be ready to have lots of fun if anyone is thinking about coming to my city. In my city the world’s largest bird statue is located and it’s name is Jatayu Nature park. It has many adventure activities going inside the park and we can reach the bird via cable car too. It’s the most amazing place to visit if anyone is considering in moving here.

My district also has a larger coastal area. Thirumullavaram beach, Azheekal beach, Kollam beach are our nearest beaches. Thankasseri, a place of high significance, houses several old churches said to have been established in the 1700s.
