Kollam is one of the beautiful districts in Kerala state. Kollam is famous for its backwaters and tourist destinations. We can see some pilgrim centres and ancient temples in kollam. My district also has a larger coastal area. Thirumullavaram beach, Azheekal beach, Kollam beach are our nearest beaches. Thankasseri, a place of high significance, houses several old churches said to have been established in the 1700s.
Kollam is one of the most beautiful city and the fourth largest city in “God’s own country”. It has remarkable landmark which includes the great backwaters of Ashtamudi, Jadayu rock, a large coastal line, and so on. Ashtamudi lake is considered the southern to the backwaters of Kerala. Kollam is also one of the greatest tourist attraction.
