As the locals like to say: “Hoedspruit is a drinking town with a tourist problem.” If you’ve been here before you’re bound to be back. It’s the kind of place you’re happy to come back to and about just as happy to leave if you know it well enough. It’s expensive, cliquey, green, quiet and beautiful. It’s growing faster by the day so come see us while we’re still quaint. Have a beer at 8, a braai at 10, a swim at 14, a drive at 17 and a whiskey before bed just to do it all again.

Hoedspruit is one of the fastest growing towns in South Africa. People from all over the country – from all parts of the world – are moving here. Attracting them is of the cost of living, and the proximity of a wide selection of nature and wildlife reserves. Within the town limits, you have everything you could need, like doctors, a dentist, chiropractor, and various shopping centers. Many different safari operators and transfer companies have their offices in town, and the Eastgate Airport is only 15 minutes away.

Hoedspruit is a village on the outskirts of the renowned Kruger National Park in South Africa. The town itself exists to cater for the tourism sector, which keeps the local economy afloat. The scenic area is remote and residents have learnt to live without the luxuries that can be found in cities.
