Anything that Dublin does not have is located in one of the neighboring cities. To the east lies the San Francisco Premium Outlets, which contain a variety of stores. San Ramon and Pleasanton are to the north and south respectively. Diversity of all types is evident throughout Dublin. It possesses a wide range of languages, ethnicities, and religions. In just one shopping center, you can find samples of Asian, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, Italian, Mexican, and traditional American food, and the list is still growing. There is always a fresh, unique restaurant diners can try.

All of the students who attend a Dublin elementary school study the town’s development at the Heritage Center and visit its historical sites, such as the Old St. Raymond’s Church. Behind the church is the surprisingly tranquil Dublin Pioneer Cemetery, which contains the graves of the settlers. Dublin’s physical location is nestled in hills and greenery. As a result, Dublin has an abundance of nature trails for hiking, horse riding, and biking. The community works hard to keep the city clean.

The city’s landscape is simple, but the grassy hills against the blue sky never fail to be beautiful. The weather is consistently warm and sunny, perfect for spending time in one of the parks. Emerald Glen is the go-to park for families and often the host of community events, such as the seasonal farmer’s market and the annual art and music Splatter festival. It also contains a skate park, a rose garden, and elaborate play structures. Summers can be spent at the Wave Waterpark.

The sizable Fallon Sports Park is a hub for athletes and casual exercisers. It contains basketball courts, soccer fields, a baseball diamond, and tennis courts. High school students are taken to school on the community buses, and drive by the BART lines that transport thousands of workers daily. Shopping centers with retail stores, grocery markets, and restaurants dot the roadsides and are close enough to walk to. On weekends, you can shop, have lunch, and watch a movie in just one plaza.
