Columbus is the fourteenth largest city in the nation and it would be considered urban. However, I have found that there is a pleasant balance between city life and suburban life, making it a great place for people of all ages. There are incredible museums, restaurants, nightlife opportunities, displays of public art, and locally owned cafes and boutiques.

Columbus is an excellent, sprawling city with many suburbs. Each suburb has its own attractions, such as the Scioto Mile outside German Village and the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium in Dublin/Powell. Some attractions are free for all, drawing the younger crowds or large families. Other attractions, like the Zoombezi Bay Water Park attached to the Zoo, cost a fair amount of money but are particularly desirable during summer.
