If you’re moving to Columbus, Ohio u need to know that Ohio State University is king. Big employer. Really good restaurants. Huge city that doesn’t seem that way. Friendly people.

Columbus is a medium-sized city with a diverse population. If you are a fan of cuisine from around the world you can find it here. There is a thriving art district downtown and many breweries and gourmet restaurants. The Museum of Art and the Center of Science and Industry are also great attractions.

Columbus is the fourteenth largest city in the nation and it would be considered urban. However, I have found that there is a pleasant balance between city life and suburban life, making it a great place for people of all ages. There are incredible museums, restaurants, nightlife opportunities, displays of public art, and locally owned cafes and boutiques.

Someone should consider the lively nature of the city. Columbus is full of unique experiences, including restaurants, escape rooms, and botanical gardens. It should also be known that while the city center is a continuously changing place, there are many suburbs not far from the capital, that offer a change in pace. Bexley, Gahanna, and New Albany are all peaceful suburbs just minutes from the city. With these two contrasting dynamics, possible residents have the option of either a small-town feel or big city living. Columbus is great for both explorers and home-bodies.

Columbus is a progressive oasis in the heart of Ohio. Rich in cultural diversity, it has everything from Ethiopian and Somali restaurants to Nepalese restaurant Momo Ghar, which was featured on the Food Network. If you’re a foodie looking to take a road trip in the American Midwest, then Columbus should be on your list.

Columbus is quite a foodie city. There are many places to eat, and these places are often open late. Among my favorite places to eat are the taco shops in Columbus. Some of these taco restaurants are authentic to the cultural cuisine. Others are chic local chains that serve less authentic comfort food and drinks.

From outstanding cuisine at places like the North Market to a myriad of annual festivals like the Columbus Asian Festival and the Dublin Irish Festival, Columbus has a great international feel. It’s an expanding city with reasonable cost-of-living expenses. Columbus is also a city that fiercely loves its sports culture; the most popular teams include the Columbus Blue Jackets, The Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Columbus Crew.

we have great small restaurants and shops. Pattycake, a vegan bakery, is a personal favorite, and North Market is a must visit for anyone coming to Columbus. Both are along the central street of High Street and are easily accessible by bus. There a several attractive hotel options in Short North and downtowns.
