Tips for Moving and Visiting

I live in the Thurber Village portion of Columbus, Ohio 43215 just North of the Arena District about 1 mile South of Grandview and about 1 mile to the Short North, OSU Campus and Downtown Columbus.

Thurber Village rental properties are modestly priced compared to the city of Grandview and the Arena District which makes it particularly appealing if you love the Blue Jackets, Nation Wide Arena or the Columbus Crew.

You can get to nearly any part of Franklin County as a commuter who utilizes public transportation.

Walking distance to nearby fenced in public dog park and Goodale Park.

Columbus is the state capital of Ohio. Columbus tends to be well known due to the football team at Ohio State University. Columbus is a very diverse and growing city represented by many nationalities and ethnic backgrounds. Additionally, Columbus has one of the largest zoos in the country. Columbus is a great city for both families as well as young professionals.

Columbus is a smaller city that has been building itself up over the years. Some of the best things about Columbus are the local businesses. The locals here are supportive of all the local businesses and the local businesses all support local up and coming artists. The Columbus art scene has grew over the years, with many of our local artists growing beyond Ohio. Their murals are painted all through downtown Columbus. We’re a small city, but we offer a great atmosphere, inclusion for all, great food, and good schools.

Columbus is the capital of Ohio. The schools here aren’t good; so, If you want your child to go to a good school, then you shouldn’t come here. Columbus is very diverse, so you have to be all right with seeing all kinds of people. The rent here isn’t so bad. It’s cheaper than other cities.

Someone moving to Columbus, Ohio should know due to the climate of the Midwestern United States, the weather can be somewhat unpredictable certain times of the year. For example, in fall, temperatures can range from the low 40s to the high 70s or higher in just one day. it is important to plan accordingly, especially when traveling. For example, it is often a good idea to dress in layers. Another important thing to know about Columbus is that many people in this area are very serious about college football, most notably The Ohio State University team, the Buckeyes. The Buckeyes are a very well-known and popular team. Their primary rival is the University of Michigan Wolverines, and games between the two teams can get heated among fans. Finally, The Ohio State University also has The Ohio State University Medical Centers, some of the best medical providers in the state. The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is a nationally-known hospital that delivers high-quality medical care.

When moving to Columbus, you should consider the school systems available. Unfortunately, Columbus City Schools is not the best, there are plenty of suburbs such as Hilliard, Dublin, and Upper Arlington that offer wonderful school for your children. These areas are also within a short drive from the main city, making your community no problem.

Columbus, Ohio, is an up and coming city with a lot to look forward to. While many may be dismayed by the lack of public transport available, the city makes up for it in many ways. Each neighborhood has its own feel that allows constant exploration in the city. One of the best attractions is COSI, the Center of Science and Industry, a large building that makes science fun, not just for the kids but for the whole family too.

Someone visiting Columbus, Ohio, should buckle up. There are lots of activities, events, and shows. My favorite is the Columbus Zoo; I love animals and it’s a wonderful staple of Columbus. The next place you must visit is Thurman’s. Their hamburgers are out of this world amazing.

Someone moving to Columbus, Ohio should know the city is incredibly diverse. There are many communities, numerous different areas to live in, and many cultures–all packed into one city. I fondly describe my hometown as the best of both worlds–that is, a ‘big’ city with small-town charm.

When moving to Columbus, Ohio you should prepare to expect bad drivers and some good ones as well. The architecture of Columbus is beautiful too, from the German Village with its Germanic styled structures to the gorgeously organized downtown and more. One can also find a broad amount of Diversity from Somali to Korea to Spanish speaking communities, allowing for anyone and everyone to find where they fit in. The City of Columbus is impressive in modern ideals and strives to keep improving itself while welcoming anyone to build a life here.

Columbus is a progressive oasis in the heart of Ohio. Rich in cultural diversity, it has everything from Ethiopian and Somali restaurants to Nepalese restaurant Momo Ghar, which was featured on the Food Network. If you’re a foodie looking to take a road trip in the American Midwest, then Columbus should be on your list.

Columbus is quite a foodie city. There are many places to eat, and these places are often open late. Among my favorite places to eat are the taco shops in Columbus. Some of these taco restaurants are authentic to the cultural cuisine. Others are chic local chains that serve less authentic comfort food and drinks.

we have great small restaurants and shops. Pattycake, a vegan bakery, is a personal favorite, and North Market is a must visit for anyone coming to Columbus. Both are along the central street of High Street and are easily accessible by bus. There a several attractive hotel options in Short North and downtowns.

Columbus is a great city. Someone should move here because there’s so much to see. The Columbus Zoo is a great place to visit if it’s your first time in the city. There’s so much to do like visit the Easton mall.
