Canberra is a big country town. With fresh air, minimal traffic and lots of parks it is a family dream location.

Canberra is a green, clean, and open city. There are many roundabouts and you will need to drive on the left-hand side of the road. With so many embassies and consulates, there are many cultural events that occur year-round. If you are moving to Canberra with children, you can be assured that the public school system is excellent and there are a vast variety of playgrounds, sports facilities, and children’s activities to choose from.

One moving to Canberra must know it is a small city with inconvenient transport compared to other cities in Australia. Cities such as Sydney and Melbourne are more densely populated with more interesting activities, whereas Canberra is bland and quiet. Although, many may prefer a bland and quiet city to settle down and live a peaceful life.

Australia’s capital, Canberra, is a small, green, beautiful city – arguably one of the most livable cities in this part of the world. Instead of decimating the native bush to build the city, Canberra’s architect, Walter Burley Griffin, interleaved fingers of habitation with the existing forest. Everyone should consider moving to Canberra – jobs are plentiful, art and theater are well developed, crime is low, and nature is everywhere – evergreen trees, colorful parrots, kangaroos, wombats, and more.

Whilst the city of Canberra is an especially magnificent one to live in, there are several things one should be wary of before moving here. Firstly, we experience all four seasons distinctly, and the temperatures fluctuate rather rapidly and extremely compared to most other cities. Additionally, as ‘The heart of the Nation’ Canberra is a natural hotbed of activity and an ideal location for vacationers, which greatly adds to the liveliness of the tourism scene. These reasons alone are enough to sway even the most determined of hearts from moving to a place such as Canberra.
