Anderson, Indiana, has restaurants, a library, and nice parks, some old houses that look like doll houses, and a theater. There is a restaurant called the lemon drop that has burgers and milkshakes. There is a drive up hot dog stand where you can get floats. There is a snow cone place called Snow Castle. There is a place called Build Your Own Burrito, where you can choose all of your toppings for tacos, burritos and more.

They have ebooks, and audiobooks that you can rent on the library website. Anderson has two parks: Shadyside and Mounds. Mounds is where Indians used to live. Mounds is named that because the Indians build mounds to use as burial grounds. It is a wonderful park to take walks at. They have a public pool and campground. The White River also runs through Mounds. It has a hill that is open for everyone to go sledding on when it snows.

Shadyside Memorial Park has a lake that you can walk around, kayak, and fish in. There is also a big playground there. Both parks have very nice trails and trees. They are very good places to take pictures, paint or have picnics. On 8th St. there are beautiful houses that look like doll houses. During the winter, when the Christmas lights are on, it looks beautiful. That part of town is called the Historical District.
