Stratford, Ontario, embodies all the friendliest aspects of small-town living while also boasting certain very cosmopolitan traits; it’s a place where you will know your neighbors by name, smile at strangers on the street, and be able to enjoy the very best restaurants and a host of cultural activities. This is largely due to the Stratford Festival, North America’s largest classical repertory theater company, which attracts 100,000s of tourists each year.
Stratford is a town in Ontario that is famed for its Shakespearean Festival. Every summer the Festival presents a wide range of plays on four stages. They range from Shakespearean plays to Broadway musicals. The plays are performed in repertory. Throughout summer this brings in tourists from around the world. As a result the town is home to a booming tourist industry.
