Sydney is built on a large natural harbor. It has fantastic natural beauty and is also a safe clean modern western city with all the attractions of a first class modern city. The weather is fantastic and lends itself to outdoor pursuits such as swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, kite boarding, sailing, canoeing, fishing, mountain biking, hiking and camping.

Sydney is a world class city with some of the most beautiful beaches you could lay your eyes on. Being a melting pot of cultures you are never too far from a myriad of cuisines. The weather is fairly good year-round enabling you to make the most of the many outdoor activities like bush walking, cycling and surfing.

Sydney is a beautiful place with many hidden beaches. People with all different cultural backgrounds live here. Most of the time the weather is pretty good but it can be really cold around winter. It can get down to 0 degrees. If you are swimming in the sea, always swim between the flags. The rip-tides can be very dangerous. Scuba diving is possible the whole year, but you have to wait for the high tides, otherwise the visibility is quite bad.

Sydney holds many amazing opportunities for outdoor activities and living. Depending on the area of Sydney in which one chooses to live, these opportunities might include swimming and surfing at picturesque beaches, bushwalking in the unique Australian bush, and plenty of team sports. If moving to Sydney, however, one must be aware of the relatively high cost of living; house prices, and the costs of goods and services, are significantly higher than many other countries, especially countries in the surrounding Asia Pacific region.
