Here's what two local experts had to say about wealth and income inequality in Sydney, New South Wales.

When considering moving to Sydney, one should be aware of the cost of living. In recent years rental prices have skyrocketed and those earning minimum wage will be hard-pressed to find accommodation that suits their income. I suggest these people look for a suburb that isn’t in the city center and where there is also consistent public transport to suit their needs. In addition to this, investing in a bicycle is an option that could save someone up to $100 per week.

HELPFUL REPORT

Sydney is a well-developed city, offering a wealth of professional opportunities and recreational activities within the CBD. Less than a 30-minute drive to the east, incredible beaches and coastline make for a relaxing retreat from the hustle and bustle. The one thing to consider if moving to Sydney is the unreliable public transport system; I recommend that those looking to relocate invest in a car.
