Sydney is built on a large natural harbor. It has fantastic natural beauty and is also a safe clean modern western city with all the attractions of a first class modern city. The weather is fantastic and lends itself to outdoor pursuits such as swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, kite boarding, sailing, canoeing, fishing, mountain biking, hiking and camping.

People moving here should know the weather is sunny and warm. Traffic can be frustrating but the people are lovely. Most of the time it is a very desirable place. Probably one of the greatest cities in the world in all truth. I love it.

Sydney is a world class city with some of the most beautiful beaches you could lay your eyes on. Being a melting pot of cultures you are never too far from a myriad of cuisines. The weather is fairly good year-round enabling you to make the most of the many outdoor activities like bush walking, cycling and surfing.

Sydney is a beautiful place with many hidden beaches. People with all different cultural backgrounds live here. Most of the time the weather is pretty good but it can be really cold around winter. It can get down to 0 degrees. If you are swimming in the sea, always swim between the flags. The rip-tides can be very dangerous. Scuba diving is possible the whole year, but you have to wait for the high tides, otherwise the visibility is quite bad.

If someone were to consider moving to Sydney, I would urge that they do sufficient research. Especially if they plan on moving in the heart of the CBD. It is important to note the weather, the cost of living, and what area you are moving to. I will say that there are some beautiful sites to see. Some sites that I recommend include the Sydney Opera House, Royal Botanical Gardens, and the different parks in the surrounding area.
