Southerners are very loyal to family and friends. Once they begin to know you, you will become part of their group rather swiftly. Some say that they will “fight to the death” to protect your honor or reputation. They also love gathering together for good food, sweet tea and a little gossip.

HELPFUL REPORT

Southaven, Mississippi, is a wonderful place to start a life. The food is amazing, and the people are kind. There are plenty of restaurants and attractions around as well!

Southaven has one of the best sets of schools in all of Mississippi. We Do not, however have a very active nightlife. We are located just South of Memphis Tennessee, and it is very easy for you to find things to do just outside of the city. I recommend Southaven for parents if school age children, but consider other factors before moving.
