When moving to the city of Provo, one should understand its history, particularly of its people. A large portion of the city’s population consists of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In addition to Provo’s unique demographic, this city houses a vast variety of foreign foods in the form of both restaurants and markets. Provo is also home to Brigham Young University, a private college run by the Church.

A person moving to Provo should first consider location; it is easy to get by without a car if one plans for it. If a person desires proximity to the university, a grocery store, and restaurants, it would be a good idea to live near the Provo City Library, which puts each of those at a 10- to 20-minute walk away. Additionally, one should consider that Provo is a college town, so many of the nearby attractions appeal primarily to 20-somethings looking for fun activities after studying.
