Chesterfield is a historic market town on the edge of the Peak District. The town is located to the south of the sprawling city of Sheffield and to the north of Derby. There is a weekly flea market held in the town square. Chesterfield has a plethora of highly rated schools, with a college offering a range of courses to older learners.

There are a few shops but you might want to own a car for going places. Houses are beautifully built. Nice community, very friendly people. Lots of takeaways and restaurants. Great area if you have a dog as there are many places to walk. Plenty of villages and/or towns near.

Within my town we have an old twisted church called The Crooked Spire. There are busy marketplaces, selling vibrant fruits and vegetables. It’s a lovely town, quiet enough to be near the countryside and yet compact enough for the shops and restaurants to keep everyone entertained. The best thing about this town is the greenery and woodlands.
