Atlanta is a southern metropolis that has yet to implement the infrastructure of its northern counterparts. That is to say, traffic is horrible, and public transportation is virtually nonexistent. Although getting around without a car can prove challenging at times, the multitude of things to do within the city and in the surrounding area makes up for any inconvenience. From lush woods to underground markets, Atlanta genuinely has something for everyone if you just know where to look.

Many people consider Atlanta to be the New York of the South. Since hosting the Summer Olympics in 1996, Atlanta has attracted nearly six million new residents. It’s currently a sprawling city with dozens of distinct neighborhoods. One of the most popular neighborhoods, Virginia Highlands, has quiet, tree-lined streets, sidewalks, and eclectic array of restaurants and shops. Ask any native New Yorker, and they’ll probably tell you that Virginia Highlands reminds them of Brooklyn’s Cobble Hill neighborhood.

Atlanta is known for Six Flags Over Georgia, The Aquarium, and a lot of great attractions. I love being a part of such a great city where everyone is friendly. We have great malls, and affordable housing as well. A lot of people from other cities love to move here.
