Durgapur is a quiet laid back city. It is well connected by road and rail with cities in India. Pollution is a little bit on the higher side. Almost everything is available here. Durgapur is famous for iron and steel industry. There is less nuisance of air pollution due to the lash green surroundings and vegetarian. It is a centre of education and technology. It also earns a good name for its hospitable climate and peaceful citizens. People have welcoming attitude to strangers.
