The museum of natural history has a sleek, modern design to it and is always doing events and new exhibitions. The University Museum of Fine Arts (UMFA) has a vast collection of paintings, both traditional and modern, and the new exhibitions are always a pleasure to visit. A recent one was showing art from Edo, Japan including samurai armor and woodblock prints. There’s always an event every season with each community doing something. During Christmas, the German community set up a Christkindlmarkt with authentic german food and games. They even have a Swiss yodeling group.

Salt Lake City is a great place, even if you’re not a Latter Day Saint. The city is safe and clean, and only minutes from breathtaking hiking trails and camping spots. The city streets are numbered and on a grid, making any address easy to find.
