If moving to Olympia, know it rests on the bottom of the Puget Sound so it is a port town. You should also know that it is a temperate climate. Most importantly, know it rains a lot and can become depressing especially during winter.
Olympia is a great city, however, it rains almost everyday. Occasionally, the sun will peer from behind the dark clouds, but one can expect a dreary winter. Summers in Olympia are unparalleled; with little humidity and moderate temperatures, Olympia presents an ideal summer. People travel to Olympia from all over the world to experience the outdoor wonders that it has to offer.
