While quality of life is something of an elusive or ill-defined concept, it can be boiled down to "Is Muharraq a good place to live?" or "Is Muharraq a bad place to live?" Here's what two local experts had to say about quality of life and overall happiness in Muharraq.

People not adjusted to warmer climes will find staying in the city (or rather, the country) incredibly troublesome. If you like staying in quieter areas or places with little to no commotion, stay far from the city, especially on weekends. Otherwise, if one wants to experience decent Arab food and get intimate with the culture, it’s a great place to visit!

Or city is extremely hot in summer. I would advise to be prepared for that. do not rely on public transport. Most of the locals and expat use their own personal vehicles to drive around. However, if that is not in your budget, I recommend looking for a flat which is nearby your office/company location.
