Plant City is a farming town. It has been dubbed the strawberry capital of the world. Each year the city has a strawberry festival to celebrate the strawberry harvest. People come from all over the country. However, Plant City has been growing the past few years. There are many houses being built and it has taken away from the small town feel. While the population has increased, it is still a quaint town that is worth a visit.

Plant City, Florida, is the “Winter Strawberry Capital of the World.” Many of the strawberries sold in America are grown here. Every spring, the city hosts The Strawberry Festival, which includes a fair, parade, and local holiday. Plant City is also a great area for hobby farming. The outskirts are rural, but the town itself has plenty of shopping, dining, and entertainment opportunities.
