It’s a suburban area, so there’s plenty of things to do, including parks, movie theatres, restaurants, and the mall. There’s plenty of child-friendly neighborhoods in the area and most families even feel safe enough to let their kids play outside without supervision. There are also plenty of churches and daycare centers.
Spring, Texas, has its ups and downs. Traffic is terrible but the tacos are fantastic. The town has been around a while, so the neighborhoods are well used and comfortable. There are plenty of parks as well. Unfortunately the area schools are not highly ranked, so if you have children this might not be what you’re looking for.
