Although many people in the US associate cornfields and cows with Nebraska, there is a surprising amount of activities and places to explore in Lincoln. Fabulous restaurants ranging from Vietnamese to Italian to farm-to-table are sprinkled throughout the city, readily available to cater to any craving.there are expansive plains and cornfields but there are also beautiful gardens, trails and lakes within the city and surrounding area. The one thing that really encapsulates the Lincoln spirit is Husker football; on game days in fall, Memorial Stadium becomes the third largest city in the state as 90,000 Nebraskans come together to root on the home team. Anyone moving to Lincoln should be ready to wear plenty of red year-round. On the subject of clothing, wardrobes should include coats, scarves and boots and tank tops and sandals due to the drastic seasonal changes experienced here. The city may seem dull on the surface but anyone in Lincoln would guarantee that a new resident would meet some of the nicest people in the Midwest without having to worry about cramped, smoggy skyscrapers cluttering the landscape.

Lincoln, Nebraska, is home to the Husker’s football team. Lincoln has wonderful parks. My favorite place in Lincoln is The Sunken Garden. It has the most beautiful plants. Lincoln is a nice place to raise a family. It has a low crime rate and a lot schools. The job market is competitive.
