Parks, Recreation, and Greenspace in Delhi

Delhi is the capital of india, in the middle of the country. It is beautiful, has great views, fun things to do, parks, playgrounds historical sites. Delhi is pleasant. The Harmattan in winter is dusty, and the dry season following quite hot, but with summer rains life outside becomes cooler. Expat communities are tight, and it is easy enough to meet people, although I mostly hang out with Nigerians, but that is my personal choice, not a necessity.

Delhi is the capital of India. It is a beautiful city. It stands on the bank of river Yamuna. Delhi originated during the Mahabharata time, about 1000 BC. Since then it took seven births. During this period, it faced Aryans, Mughals and the British. Delhi is divided into two parts – Old Delhi and New Delhi. New Delhi is very beautiful. It was constructed by Lutyens. The old Delhi was constructed during the Mughal period. Old Delhi is very crowded. In New Delhi, there are beautiful parks and gardens. Nehru Park, Talkatora Garden, Lodhi Garden and Buddha Park are worth seeing gardens. Old Delhi has very majestic buildings of great historical importance too. Delhi is a great center of trade, industries and education. Karol Bagh, Chandni Chowk, Connaught Place and Lajpat Nagar are beautiful and famous shopping markets. Delhi is the heart of India. Delhi is a historical city. The old buildings remind us about its glorious past. The people come to Delhi to see the historical places like Qutub Minar, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Parliament House, National Museum, Gurudwara Sis Ganj, India Gate and Zoo. I like it very much. Today Delhi has a rapid transport system in the country with its Metro-trains and government has decided to make it a world class city. Moving in Delhi would be a great experience for anyone.

Though Delhi is highly polluted, it is good place for somebody who is about to start his/her career as it has cheap accommodation, the commute is easy since there is a huge chain of metro and public transport is easily available, also not to forget thee are good places to visit for recreation.

Delhi, being the National Capital, is a political centre bustling with activity year-round. Though it’s a fast-paced city, you can find your moments of peace in the sprawling gardens of Lutyens Delhi, or on walks around some of the most prominent architectural structures in India. Early morning scenes can prove to be a photographer’s delight, especially during the booming spring.

Delhi consists of great food courts where one can enjoy hisher day. Heshe can visit beautiful temples to utilize their day. My city has the best schools, colleges, hospitals and well known parks. We are known for our food and hospitality… People from different communities live in this silent city and they live peacefully together. famous monuments of people in history are carved into large stones across various parts of my city.

Delhi is a beautiful city and it is the capital of India. It is one of the oldest city and is famous for its spicy and delicious street food. My recommendation for anybody moving to delhi would be that he must try some of the famous food outlets in Delhi. I would also recommend him visiting the famous historical places in Delhi like India Gate, Red Fort, Mughal Garden, etc.

Here are many good monuments and parks to visit on weekends and many market streets to roam around. Delhi is the heart of india.
