My city is the capital of the country, India, therefore it is metropolitan. It has good transportation services like the bus, metro, auto-rickshaws etc. There are a lot of great markets and local stores available to meet all your needs. My city has both very hot summers and decently cold winters and thus, clothing for both the seasons are needed.

There are endless incredible ancient monuments that tourist don’t even know exist in Delhi. Shopping experiences are great with lots of bustling wholesale market. The temperature can be extreme. It has splendid metro facilities where you can visit almost anywhere in Delhi with minimum expense, There are plenty of places. Akshardham is one of the best place.

Delhi is a a city of contrasts. The weather itself can attest to this fact – it’s either sweltering or freezing, with hardly anything between. In Delhi, ancient monuments which are 100s of years old stand side by side with sleek modern apartments that bustle with the latest home technologies. As the capital of the country, in many ways, Delhi is a “mini-India”. Nowhere in India will you find such a unique mix of different cultures and ethnicities which do not necessarily blend together but exist together, each in their own bubble. Delhi has the capacity to give everyone a chance to have their own space, as crowded as it may be, metaphorically and physically.

Delhi is the capital of india, in the middle of the country. It is beautiful, has great views, fun things to do, parks, playgrounds historical sites. Delhi is pleasant. The Harmattan in winter is dusty, and the dry season following quite hot, but with summer rains life outside becomes cooler. Expat communities are tight, and it is easy enough to meet people, although I mostly hang out with Nigerians, but that is my personal choice, not a necessity.

Delhi is a crowded city demanding a fast-paced life. Delhi’s weather can be unforgiving, both in summers and winters. Although it is not as difficult to find accommodation on Delhi as some other cities, the primary locale of the migrants to Delhi is determined by their occupation. Students group together, so do the professionals, casual labourers, though are scattered throughout. It is a city with a rich history and culture, and is cosmopolitan.

Delhi is famous for different weather throughout the year and at the same time ranks top among polluted cities. one should bring all types of clothes for the same. Delhi experiences extreme weather. It either tends to be too cold or too hot. During May to July, the temperatures can soar up high accompanied with dust storms, making the region very dusty due to which most activities are conducted indoors during these months. During the monsoon season, the temperatures tend to lower a bit due to frequent showers. The months from October to March, however, tend to be the better months in the city due to the mild temperature during that period. December and January tend to get pretty nippy, so do come equipped with woollen clothes and warm bedding and upholstery.

I reside in the capital of India, Delhi. It represents the true spirit of the country. Its vibrancy, enthusiasm of people, bustling streets, busy roads represent the country in its true fashion. The multicultural aspect of the country with all living in peace and harmony is surely not to be missed. The changing weather after every three months is something to look for.

Delhi is a mixture of various ethnicities and religion. An individual should be prepared for the weather. The weather can get nasty at times. Save an image of the city you will be residing in I will surely save you later. The city has a lot of jobs to offer. Another advice from my side would be to learn the art of management of of finances. Make a few friends round the city, a few familiar faces go a long way in an unfamiliar city.

Delhi is the capital of the India have more than any thing to consider moving to the city. It is the capital territory where mughal era stand like Red Fort to recent era stand like railway museum to science museum are making their visibility. Since my city is a megacity, sprawling with people, those who are searching for some peace and quiet should take that into consideration. Plus, traffic is a major issue, particularly during peak hours, although the city is well-equipped with public transport and feeder services. Mosquitoes are a major menace during the monsoon months and so is pollution during winters. Summers are quite long and get really hot so people who are sensitive to heat need to think over their decision. Nevertheless, Delhi is a colourful melting pot, full of diverse people and varieties of food, from delicacies to roadside snacks. Delhi can be a nightmare for some but a paradise for many as well.

As on of the most populated cities of India, Delhi is not a place to consider for people who wish to live in a quiet place. The city is seething with people and cars. The weather may not agree with Europeans who are not used to so hot or cold temperatures. you better use sunscreen and wear clothes to protect your screen.

Delhi is not the best place, there is a lot pollution, the weather is very hot in summers and very cold in winters. Not many people are fluent in English, in fact, you will not find many people who can speak English, so learning Hindi before is a must.

Delhi is the national capital of India. Delhi is not categorized as a state but as a Union territory. Before moving to Delhi, people should realize that the environment in Delhi tends to reach extremes, in both winter and summer, and is usually dry year-round. Since Delhi is the capital of India it is one of the most urban in infrastructure and opportunities due to which it attracts a lot of people which has led up to a problem of overpopulation.

Kishore, says: 2020

Most people visit Delhi between September and March, and these months are popular for a reason. Summer in the capital is becoming terribly warm, and epic heatwaves are common, so it’s a good idea to stay away between May and August (i.e., before the monsoon hits… avoid flights between November to December also.

Delhi is a very crowded city being home to a whopping 19 million. The roads are mostly blocked by traffic and finding parking space isn’t a piece of cake either so the best way to travel would be by metro. In summers, the temperatures can reach as high as 49 degrees Celsius so having an air conditioner is a must. The city has a lot of shops and shopping malls so you never have to look too far for things when they’re needed. It’s a pleasant city.

Ashwini, says: 2020

Delhi is the capital of India, the weather is too hot during summer. People are really cooperative on other side you may find some who might trick you down. It’s a great place to chill out with friends and family, it is also one of the oldest cities of India. It has it’s cultural heritage.

In Delhi, capital of India, there are many religious people living all together. Here summers are too hot and winters are too cold. one must dress accordingly. One should take care of its belongings as there are many robbers. Stay away from goons. Here pollution rate is very high. But living in Delhi you can see whole country’s culture and tradition. with so many difficulties but too much population, something is there that people love to be here.

Something for middle-class people: If you are not rich then you should get habitual of saving money. Even a ‘barf ka Gola’ is going to cost you around RS 30. If you are planning to go to a ‘nice restaurant’ for once then you can but you will run out of money for the entire month.

Useful tips:
– Get a metrocard and prefer metro over any other modes of transport because it is cheap, convenient, and keeps you safe from Delhi’s pollution.
– Use E-rickshaw and DTC buses.

Things you’ll experience in Delhi:
– Smog: In winter, be ready to witness a new kind of fog, that is smog. Initially, maybe you will think it is fog but eventually it will burn your eyes and it decreases the visibility of the roads and maybe you will see this fog kind of thing even in your room.
– Cheap shopping: Maybe other things are pretty expensive here but shopping is going to balance this. You can go to Sarojini and many other places for the cheapest clothes.
– The feeling of summer even in the rainy season: If it is not raining in the rainy season then you can get the feeling of summer.
– Minimum rainfall: If you are not from Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan be ready for this new change. The major cause of minimum rainfall here is ‘Delhi’s Pollution’.

Delhi’s weather is quite extreme – it gets extremely hot in summers but can be really cold in winter. Be prepared for that. Additionally, air pollution is also a problem; so, if you have breathing issues, you may need to take extra precautions. However, not to put you off, it is quite a lovely city. Delhi has history, culture and not to forget, fantastic food. Being the capital, the city attracts people from all over India, making it very diverse. In fact, you could say that Delhi is a “mini-India.”
