If you are considering a move, the city of New Westminster has certain disadvantages, such as: a scarcity of public parks, pools, sport facilities and entertainment venues. On the other hand, New Westminster has many advantages, including a walking path on the banks of the Fraser River, a vibrant musical community. As well, the artistic community is very well established and active.

New Westminster is called the Royal City. It used to be the capital of the province in which I live. There are a lot of retirees here and some beautiful parks, one of which is along the river. There is also a major hospital which is renowned for its surgeries.
