Vernon is a beautiful, resort community. In the Okanagan Valley, visitors can enjoy a morning of alpine skiing followed by an afternoon of nine rounds of golf. A perfect destination for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. For those interested in a permanent move, Vernon is centrally between Vancouver and Calgary, two of Western Canada’s largest cities. A great place to visit but an even better place to call home.

People who reside in Vernon must be comfortable with heat and cold weather. We are in a valley with many elderly residents, causing the overall population to be much older. Finally, my home city has a very religious community.
