Moving to Medellin can be a great adventure and a decision you won’t be regretting for sure. People from Medellin are warm and welcoming and are always open to help you have a good time. The weather here is nice, no matter what time of the year it is, so you can always expect a good combination of warm and sunny or rainy but not very cold days. I can confidently state that if you come to Medellin, you will want to stay permanently.

Medellín is a beautiful place! It’s filled with lovely people, an amazing and varied climate, and traditional food places where you’ll be able to get a proper feel of life in Colombia. Nevertheless, a large part of the population is still struck by poverty and by the remains of Pablo Escobar’s narco legacy.

You must be aware to who you speak with. Be cautious, eyes opened at all time. But also be prepared to have fun, find amazing places and eat savoury fruit. Early working mornings. Late hamaca nights. Salsa on Wednesday night. Sundays are always for family and frijoles. You should not miss Medellín.
