It’s very beautiful here. Unfortunately everyone else feels that way also. It’s becoming very overcrowded and expensive. Property tax has doubled in 3 years. I want out!

Matthews is a lovely, small town just outside of Charlotte, NC. It holds a charter which prevents the town from annexation by Charlotte. Residents benefit from the small town feeling and the metropolis benefits. Taxes are lower in Matthews than in Charlotte. However, residents of Matthews can enjoy all the city of Charlotte offers.

Matthews is a beautiful place and raise a family. It is not as big as Charlotte. Matthews is a suburb of Charlotte. The public schools in Matthews are very highly rated. Each year Matthews hosts a festival, which is dedicated to supporting non-profit organizations. This festival, called Matthews Alive, takes place during Labor Day weekend.

Matthews is a small town 10 minutes outside of Charlotte. It has all the perks of a big city without traffic. There is easy access to malls and the football stadium. Matthews is also close to the South Carolina border and Carowinds Amusement Park. It is about three hours from Charleston SC.

Matthews is a very quiet place. Even though it is a quiet city, it has a lot of events to participate in. Also, minutes from Charlotte, if you are more interested in a city type of lifestyle. In all, it is a medium for people who want the best of both worlds.
