It is a busy city as most be people more there to look for jobs and other facilities. The population of the city is about 230,000 people. The city is named after a chief who was called Kgosi Gaborone. Gaborone is headquarters to numerous companies. The headquarters of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) is in Gaborone.
