Alexandria is a beautiful, quaint town; it’s full of history and plenty of sights to see! The historic downtown sits on the waterfront of the Potomac river and boasts an abundance of dining options, as well as shopping experiences, for all tastes and price ranges. It is a charming, bustling city that still manages to have that small-town feel that many look for in such a populated area!

Alexandria is a beautiful city with a long and rich history. Residents and tourists enjoy walking along the banks of the Potomac and eating at the city’s wonderful restaurants. While winter in Alexandria is usually mild, summer can be hot and humid. Autumn and spring are the loveliest times of the year.

Alexandria is a city rich in culture and history. There is virtually always something to do when in Alexandria. One can venture to historic Old Town Alexandria, where the waterfront and local shops serve as a source of relaxation and entertainment for both locals and guests. It is a vibrant city where one can always learn and explore to empower themselves.

Alexandria is an urban city. There is many activities such as visiting Old Town Alexandria, a historic part of the city, and enjoying walks along the Potomac river and venturing into DC to see the National Monuments and the White House. Although there is a good deal of traffic don’t be concerned! The metro has lines the run all over the city that you can use any time of day.

Someone moving to Alexandria, Virginia, should know the myriad of activities available across various industries. Breweries, rock-climbing walls, theaters, and even beaches are all only a one-hour drive from the city. However, if history is more your speed, the city is full of historical landmarks and additional activities. Even the most aloof tourists and locals can find something to do in this city.
