I live in Primrose which is kind of a small town under a city called Germiston. The great Germiston that is also known as South Africa’s sixth largest city with 70% of western worlds gold. Enough of the historical facts and if you would like to move to Germiston I could say if you are a person who prefers peace Primrose is the place for you because it’s a suburb that has peace and quiet.

My city Germiston is a small place in the East Rand of South Africa. The is a lot criminal activities that takes place such as mugging, car jamming and even stealing of cars so it is very important to be careful when around my city. The cheapest mode of transportation is a train, the trains are affordable but they are the slowest modes of transport, there are usually delays everyday because of cable theft that occurs almost daily. It might not be the safest place in the country but the is a quite a number of friendly, kindhearted and welcoming people.

There are lot of work opportunities here and that the rent is expensive. People here are amazing and loving. You will always find help if you need one. Lots of fun places to see and travel to and meet new people and make friends. You should consider coming here.

Someone considering moving to my city should know that it is central and close to major tourist attractions. They are also close to all the nice restaurants and the airport and other means of transportation. If you are also interested in the history of the country there are also a few museums close by.

Germiston is one of the older cities built around Johannesburg. It is surrounded by old mine dumps that create dust clouds on windy days. The neighbourhoods are rustic and are very quiet compared to the larger city of Johannesburg not very far from it. The neighbourhood has the feel of a small town, although it is basically part of a megalopolis.

Someone moving here should know it is a very beautiful, lively city. However, it is not the safest city in the world. One needs to be vigilant at all times if one were moving here. Additionally, finding a job can be very difficult and I recommend trying to find a job before moving here.

Germiston is a small town on the East Rand in Gauteng Province South Africa. It falls under the administration of the City of Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality which was established in 2000. It hosts the municipal council and administration building. Of great interest in the town is the Germiston Victoria Lake which is one of the town’s centre of attraction. For the religious at heart, there are churches in every corner of the own. There are also schools, colleges and further education training centres, should you have kids of school-going age or if wish to further your studies. People from all walks of life reside in the townships and suburbs surrounding our town.

Germiston is very vibrant, the culture is rich and the people are friendly. It is a busy city though, so if you’re moving here, you should ensure that you’re ready for the hustle and bustle of city life. It’s also very competitive because South Africans are hard workers, but the jobs are rewarding.
