Eugene is a welcoming college town where people from all walks of life can gather and feel at home. You can find all kinds of interesting music, arts, and sporting events to attend. Homelessness is becoming a big problem, however. The prices for housing are skyrocketing, as they are in many cities around the country.

Do you like to run? Eugene is known around the world as Track Town, USA. With an intricate network of long, well-groomed paths and state of the art facilities, it caters to amateurs and professionals. If you are planning a trip, look for hotels near Hayward Field and the University of Oregon.

Eugene revolves around the sports of our University. As a smaller college town, Eugene draws in many people with the thrill of our winning sporting teams. These events also draw people to the lovely downtown region of the city in which people can find many places to watch the games, or explore the various shops and services offered in the area.

The city that I live in is known by many because of the large public university at its heart. The thousands of college students that live here help contribute to a community that is both vibrant and relaxed. While I enjoy life here very much, the eccentricities of this city are not for everyone.
