Mansfield is an up-and-coming suburb within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. As a result of of rapid growth over the past few decades, the city undergone extensive demographic changes which are reflected in a marked shift from a primarily agrarian economy to the diversified city as it exists today. Following the completion of US Route 287 in recent years, travel and a commute between Mansfield and the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area is far easier than ever before.
Mansfield is a diverse city with a surprising number of parks and green spaces for a small suburb. In a bid to attract families and outdoor enthusiasts, the city has connected all of its parks via a linear trail that is well used by residents year-round. Main Street is a quaint and quirky mix of old and new; for example, the original 1950s era theater still shows one movie per month, while a trendy brewery has pride of place next to the theater.
