In 2017, the Little Caesars Arena was opened which replaced the Joe Louis Arena and The Palace of Auburn Hills. It cost $862.9 million to construct, which would be about $3 from every person in the US. The arena can hold about 22,000 people for concerts and sports games. Though the Lions may not be as strong as they used to be, Michiganders keep the team spirit strong and Lions games are always packed with tons of people cheering them on.

Detroit is a city clawing its way back to its former glory. It’s known for being tough and gritty, and for never quitting. In the summer when it is not too hot out there are many sports games that go on during the weekends. The city has the Detroit Lions Football, Tigers Baseball, Pistons Basketball, and the Red Wings Hockey teams.
