Someone moving here should know the neighborhoods that you shouldn’t be in during the night. They should also know that going to gas stations, stores, and banks are very dangerous at night.

Detroit is a large city with many unique challenges. The population is relatively small compared to its size. This has created issues with regular city services, such as trash collection and policing. Recently, many investors have been interested in developing certain areas within Detroit, but several long-time residents are put out by their efforts. Gentrification is a rising issue in the city.

Detroit is a misunderstood city. With all its crime, Detroit seems like a poor place, but it’s full of life and vitality. Most people living there enjoy its history and energy. I recommend it as long as one knows where to move. It’s a complex place with many diverse neighborhoods.
