Although the city of Calgary is landlocked, it boasts several lake communities that can cater to your family’s love of water. There is a public beach in each community where you can feel the sand between your toes, rent a pedal boat, or simply splash in the water with your kids. If your budget allows, there are homes directly on the man-made lakes with their own private docks for your enjoyment. You can experience lakeside living, even in the heart of the city.
