Carrollton has some conveniences, such as Walmart, Kroger, and Butler Mall for clothing. There are a few other good shops and Dollar stores. Where Carrollton excels is with the beauty of their parks and a haven for nature lovers! We have four parks altogether. Butler State Park has very hilly and steep hiking trails. Camp Kysoc, a former camp, is open for walking trails and it has very dense vegetation, providing a great way to get closer to nature while hiking! The park at the point is located along the river and is very peaceful for an afternoon walk after work. Carroll County Park is a basic park with a children’s playground, but it is lacking with all of the trails that the other parks have.
