From bikinis to beachballs to boardwalks, here's what five local experts had to say about beaches in and near Talisay City, Cebu.

Talisay is known for the delicious lechon. It is usually sold per kilo along the public beach near the church where other food and fruits are sold. Talisay is smaller than Cebu City. The current mayor Samsam Gullas is one of the youngest mayors.

HELPFUL REPORT

I strongly suggest that you would visit the oldest church in our city, which is the Basilica Minore del Sto. Nino. And also, there are a lots of good tourist spots in our place, it can be beaches, falls, springs,, etc. The food in here also is one of the best in the country. the people here are the best.

To those moving to Talisay City, you will be able to enjoy the beaches. You’ll also get to enjoy a silent starry night far from the noise of vehicles. It’s a pretty small town and kind of semi-city like.

The city I am in is a good place. It is not too crowded and not too secluded. Malls, churches, and beaches are a few kilometers from any neighborhood. Public transport is very accessible if you want to go to other cities. People are also friendly and helpful so you don’t need to worry about getting lost while living here on your first months. your decision about moving here is a good move.

Our City is known for its delicious “lechon”. Aside from that famous delicacy, there are also a lot of beautiful places to visit to. Our City is mostly known for its beach resorts, since we are at the outskirts of the province. The people are amiable and hospitable.
