Anyone moving to Siliguri must know that it is a city with moderate climate with heavy rainfall during the monsoon season. One must also know that it being on the foothills of the Himalayas stays pretty cold during winters and must have proper clothing for such chilly weather.

Siliguri is in the foothills of the majestic hills/mountain range of Himalayas. The weather in Siliguri is pleasant all year-round. It is the major hub of trade; you name a trade and you find it. The city is so well connected with every part of the country that you never face any problems in moving around. The best part about the city is you have numerous places for relaxing and chilling and for weekend getaways. Hills stations like Darjeeling, Gangtok are less than 150 kilometres away. We have people from different parts of the country, living together in perfect harmony. The tastiest of food, living and the best of lifestyle.

Siliguri is in the foothills of the Himalayas in the Northeast of India and is the gateway to the Northeast. It enjoys a temperate climate and the rainy season is from June to August. It does get hot in summer with temperatures ranging around 40 degrees.

Siliguri is a beautiful city with a calm temperature. It provides affordable living to all classes of people and the rate of living per person is much lower than compared to other cities like Kolkata, Delhi, etc. People are friendly and you’ll find a mixed culture here. Harmony is the basic reason for peace in this city.

For a small town, it is congested. The climate is at the extremes, meaning it’s very hot, above 40 degree Celsius, in summer and very cold in winter, below 10 degree Celsius. You will be exposed to three different languages – Hindi, Bengali, and Nepali. On a clear day you can see Kanchenjunga Mountains from your rooftop.

Siliguri, a sprawling, small town, in the foothills of the Kanchenjunga mountain range is a beautiful and peaceful city. The remarkable growth that this town has shown over the years, is quite astounding. If you want to live a peaceful and simple life, far from the complexity of big towns, this is exactly the place for you. The soothing weather, the view of the Kanchenjunga hills right from your room, is going to turn out as the cherry to the pie. I would always suggest my beautiful hometown, to be your beautiful hometown.
