Language is the most important factor in my city. There are people who move here from all parts of the country. However, most of them face a common problem which is language barrier. It is obviously not possible for everyone to learn the local language but it is definitely advisable that they learn the basics for a comfortable stay here.

For a small town, it is congested. The climate is at the extremes, meaning it’s very hot, above 40 degree Celsius, in summer and very cold in winter, below 10 degree Celsius. You will be exposed to three different languages – Hindi, Bengali, and Nepali. On a clear day you can see Kanchenjunga Mountains from your rooftop.

Siliguri, a sprawling, small town, in the foothills of the Kanchenjunga mountain range is a beautiful and peaceful city. The remarkable growth that this town has shown over the years, is quite astounding. If you want to live a peaceful and simple life, far from the complexity of big towns, this is exactly the place for you. The soothing weather, the view of the Kanchenjunga hills right from your room, is going to turn out as the cherry to the pie. I would always suggest my beautiful hometown, to be your beautiful hometown.
